Eligibility:

Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
B.Ed. or M.Ed. (if applicable)

Subjects Offered:

The MH-SET is conducted for a wide range of subjects, including:

Humanities: Marathi, English, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, etc.
Languages: French, German, Arabic, Persian, etc.
Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Botany, Zoology, Geology, etc.
Commerce & Management: Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, etc.
Law: LLB

Selection Process:

The MH-SET consists of two papers:

Paper I: General English (100 marks)
Paper II: Your Chosen Subject (200 marks)

Candidates who qualify for the exam based on their combined score will be eligible for appointment as Assistant Professors in Maharashtra.
